Rumors about Peter Thiel’s investment into Telegram’s ICO weren’t confirmed.
Block.one announced a new round of private funding that was backed by some big-name investors such as Bitmain and hedge fund billionaires Louis Bacon and Alan Howar.
“[Block.one is] excited to welcome key strategic investors aligned with our values of creating a more secure and connected world.” said CEO Brendan Blumer.
EOS is now the 5th most valuable cryptocurrency based on market capitalization.
CoinDesk reported that Block.one started planning a more active role in EOS network and economy recently. Although, some of the experts consider it as a problematic move.
